Vice President, Technology and Marketplace Integration - iSold It of Washington

Chartered with driving the technology integration and operational efficiencies of all of iSold It's on-line and off-line systems. Responsible for the selection, test, integration, deployment and support of iSold It's web based e-commerce and market place management web based software solution.

Responsible for creating the first operational web site for iSold It of Washington. Related duties include the creation of multiple media, advertising, and e-tail-based programs for iSold It.

Instrumental in the successful growth and transformation of the Organization into an icon for the City of Federal Way community. 9APACI provides quality dance education, performing opportunities for children and young adults.

Duties Include:

• Marketing - Evaluating advertising schemes and public relations strategies.
• Creative Design - Designing and producing digital and printed media including brochures, production programs and multimedia support.
• Producer - Involved in all phases of production management and integration. Overseeing all aspects of theatrical production working in conjunction with the Artistic Director and choreographers (9APACI is a production based organization in which students are provided with performing opportunities in different venues for their artistic growth).
• Web Site - Developing and maintaining the Organization web site as a business and a communication tool.
• Stage design - Fabrication of stage static and dynamic props and setup. Creating hand painted stage backdrop sets, creating mechanisms for rigging, lightning schemes, stage sound and lights management during productions.

Structural Research and Development Engineer (contract engineer) - Boeing - Phantom Works, Seattle, WA - Hot Primary Structures

The position requires a great level of innovative ability and engineering intuition to create design solutions, because often the knowledge base for these problems is either lacking or even nonexistent.

Duties Include:

• Structural concept creation and development of aircraft, hypersonic and reusable space vehicles primary structural components utilizing Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMC) and other high temperature materials.
• Provided innovative solutions to technically challenging problems arising from the superheated environment of high speed trans-atmospheric travel.
• Prepared detailed design CATIA (3-D) digital data set for the fabrication of structural test components.
• Directed fabrication and assembly work of test components.
• Provided technical support in the resolution of manufacturing discrepancies.
• Intense coordination with industry and Boeing teams required. Prepared and delivered required design drawings, technical support, and task progress review presentations to customer.

96/99 - Application Developer - Knowledge Based Engineering (KBE)

• Captured and translated engineering knowledge into practical engineering rules then transformed these rules into applicable code using ICAD programming environment (using LISP).
• Applications developed helped reduce HSCT airplane level sizing cycle time by 50%, improved the quality and reproducibility of the product, eliminated data consistency checks, and have allowed better knowledge management and documentation.
• Implemented extensive and detailed coordination and milestone management system with multidisciplinary teams to provide timely resolution of development problems.
• Involved in all aspects of application life cycle including software architecture, development, testing and implementation. Wrote application user manual and tracked application release history.

91/97 - Structural Design Engineer - Conceptual Design Engineer/Design Integrator

• Integrated the detailed design activities of a multi-company team in support of the HSCT cost/weight structural and material trade studies.
• Developed and prepared initial structural concepts and analysis of experimental material/structural systems for a multitude of supersonic airplane configurations.
• Analyzed concept integration with new fabrication and assembly techniques for producibility studies.
• Provided structural design solutions to support of new airplane configuration development. Analyzed initial structural arrangements for structural load path continuity.
• Intense coordination with industry, NASA LaRC and Boeing teams was required. Prepared and delivered preliminary design drawings, technical and task progress review presentations to NASA and industry.

96/97 - Research and Technology Engineer - Task Lead

• Conducted and monitored task development and research activities in support of HSCT Supersonic Laminar Flow Control (SLFC) structural assessment.
• Prepared and coordinated structural concept development and integration with systems.
• Directed task activities of work performed under contract to other companies.

92/96 - Test Planning and Integration Engineer - Design Integrator

• Instrumental in all areas of the design and fabrication of structural test hardware to form part of HSCT material characterization evaluation and testing program for advanced composite, metallic and hybrid materials systems.
• Integrated, implemented, and developed experimental fabrication processes. Monitored material purchasing, vendor selection and conducted coordination in all facets of the manufacturing and inspection process.

90/91 - C-17 cargo airplane - Structural Liaison Engineer

Responsible for resolving engineering and production problems associated with the manufacturing and assembly of the C-17 aircraft. Authorized Material Review Board (MRB).

89/90 - Fuselage Structural Design Systems Integrator

Fuselage Structural Design Systems Integrator - Monitored systems installation and interface with structures including design of structural components to support systems installation.

Prepared preliminary systems routing schemes to be used in production. Conducted and evaluated test of new coatings for the chemical milling operation of complex extrusions for ease of production.

88/89 - Structural Design Engineer - Structural Design Engineer

Performed design analysis and production layouts of C-17 primary structural components (skin panels). In post production work, assignments included sustaining work on the above. Extensive use of 3-D CADD supported the effort.
