ARIA DANCE COMPANY (ADC)
President of ARIA Dance Company (ADC) (1996 - 2006), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
Aria Dance Company is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that was founded in 1996. Aria is dedicated to helping dancers achieve self-discipline and artistic expression through dance.In my role as the president of the Board and with the help of many dedicated volunteers, we succeeded in obtaining grants needed for successful company productions, established company by laws, and obtained 501(c)(3) status.
I was also involved in the coordination of all phases of company operations including fund raising, managing work assigned to committees, preparing brochures and advertising media and graphics, planning future company activities, and chairing board meetings.
FEDERAL WAY COALITION OF THE PERFOMING ARTS (FWCPA)
President (2000 - 2001) and active member (1999-2005) of the FWCPA was organized in 1989 to promote and raise funds toward a 1,000+ seat performing arts center in Federal Way. It is comprised of two representatives from each performing arts group in Federal Way who serve on the Board of Directors. FWCPA is a registered, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and a member of the Federal Way Chamber of Commerce.
My role as the president of the FWCPA Board was to maintain global objectives and group focus, organize and coordinate production activities, and provide support for fund raising activities.
While supporting FWCPA activities I have developed and maintained the first operational web site as a means to improve communication and create community awareness, produced marketing material, posters and stage backgrounds.

SOUTH KING COUNTY CULTURAL COALITION (SKCCC)
Member of the South King County Cultural Coalition (SKCCC) (until 2008). The SKCCC aims to increase the visibility and participation in South King County cultural programs by connecting artists, audiences and cultural resources.
As active participant of the SKCCC my goal was to help promote the cultural aspects of the School and its performing companies by providing visibility for these organizations in the community.
